Time for a change - on my move to Substack

It’s time for some newness.

I can’t believe I’ve been sharing posts here for 2 1/2 years. Seriously…where did the time go?

I hope it’s obvious that I love writing and sharing it with you each week.

Otherwise, it would have gone the way of other experiments (Facebook and TikTok, to name two), long ago.

And now it’s time for a change….

_____

I’m moving to Substack.

For the last year, I’ve been toying with the idea of moving to Substack.

In the process, I’ve:

  • Subscribed to the Substack newsletters, some paid and some not

  • Read about the pros and cons of the platform

  • Consumed discussion threads on the best place to host a newsletter

  • Considered a LinkedIn newsletter

  • Listened to podcast episodes on the topic

  • Bought a course on launching on Substack

That’s when I knew I had committed to making the move.

I’m doing so for two reasons:

  1. There’s more I want to share beyond this weekly email — on a wider range of topics tied to women in business and women in history.

  2. I hope to reach an expanded audience and build a community of like-minded female founders.

And frankly, I’m excited. So, it’s on.

What you can expect.

You’ll receive an email from me when you sign up for my Substack newsletter.

In it, I’ll share more about the newsletter and what you’ll find there. When you’re in the website, you’ll find a Welcome post. Read that for the full background and offerings.

The one thing that won’t change is this email that lands in your inbox each Wednesday morning.

It will look a little different and will have a new name “Business/Women.”

But it will be written by me and will have the same content you’ve come to expect for as long as you’ve been here.

On this new adventure.
