What’s going right in your business?

When was the last time you asked this question? Really asked it – thoughtfully, deeply, and with genuine curiosity? As a female business owner, and maybe even a solopreneur, what’s working well in your business?

My guess is that it may have been a while.

I suggest you ask yourself this question this week, because:

One – it’s the holiday season, and part of the significance of this time of the year, beyond gathering for turkey and pie and gifts, is to think about and express gratitude.

And two – it is much too easy to focus on what’s going wrong in your business – what needs to be fixed – rather than what is actually going right.

_____

Why is the latter important?

Here is why I want you to give this some thought:

  • I am a big believer in doubling down on what’s working in order to get more of those excellent results.

  • It helps you stay focused and not fall prey to “shiny object syndrome.”

  • By recognizing and placing your attention on those things that are generating positive results – and the positive results themselves – you get good energy flowing, and you gain momentum.

_____

A suggestion.

If it’s been a while since you allowed yourself to think about what is going right in your business (and life), perhaps over the holiday break – after you’ve unwrapped your gifts and shared a festive meal with your loved ones and stored the leftovers – you can do this:

✔️ Sit down with your cup of tea or coffee, or glass of wine (hey, maybe even a martini).

✔️ Grab a notebook and pen.

✔️ And make an unfiltered list of everything that’s worked for you in 2022 and is really rocking at the moment.

✔️ Then go back and circle those things that you can put even more attention into as you wrap the year – to end it on a high note and set you up for 2023.

I plan to do the same.

And if you’re stuck coming up with what is working and what to focus on in the coming year, book a Discovery Call so we can start the process helping you get clear so you can take action.
